My favorite purchase has to be the gold Martina's that I regretted not grabbing when I was here in July and yet were still here waiting for me on the shelf in the store. I wore them a ton in the month of December as they are perfect for holiday style.

Yikes! I really feel like I overspent this month. Especially, as I am not including my J.Crew warehouse sale purchases here. My goal for the new year is to be more conservative. I have to think of all the money I will save if I don't spend my postmark/ebay sales on new items.  Another blogger, Anna at http://theannabelleblog.com has given me an idea for a budget yearly review post and I will work on that next.

Linking up my last budget post of the year with Fran and the other budgeting bloggers here

  1. What I like about your purchases is that it looks/feels like a collection... that is, you will be able to create a lot of outfits with these pieces! Overall you didn't spend a lot when you factor in your sales, but I can understand a little remorse in always spending the sale money you get... I stopped doing as much on Poshmark and I started to feel the impact on my shopping budget as a result, so I need to pick it back up again!

    1. What you said makes a lot of sense! Thanks for that Aubrey! I'm going to work to spend around $150 a month in the new year. :)

  2. i love this post and all related to the spending and $ making. I dont feel remorse when i spend the money i made on my selling goodies - i wish it was always like that - but i know i need to start shopping more my closet and save my selling $ soon, its just too hard, and your goal is so nice, i think i need to make some plans for 2015 - this is so inspiring! love all your items, and i recently bought 2 items on Posh - the Fiona jacket in orange, i have the dark grey and is one of my favorites, and a wool dress from years ago 'lovely' - with my selling $, and i love your items!!! xoxo, happy New Year!

    1. Thanks so much for stopping by Andrea! Happy New Year to you also. :)

  3. I think you did great - you got a lot of pieces but you also sold a lot so it helps balance it out! All of these pieces go together so you will be creating so many new looks! Have a Happy New Year!
